Around Australia on a Motorcycle – The Video

The arrival day in Sydney, after 7 months riding and 37000 km on the odometer.

Finally, after ONLY 5 months since my return to Sydney, I was able to actually put my hands on all the 350 GB of footage, that I’ve collected along my 7 months of travelling around Australia.
It has been a long process of selecting, importing, trimming, compressing, crawling, cross-fading, rendering and all the other funny words that you probably just heard of, but don’t necessarily know what they mean, about video editing.
What actually matters, at the end, is the final result, which is the video below; It makes me smile every time i watch it, so I hope it would do the same for you.

Post processing is always a bit tedious and usually takes a long time, but I have to say that It’s also quite entertaining to go through all the clips recorded with my GoPro and be reminiscent of those good times, spent riding in the middle of nowhere, swimming in beautiful waters, hanging out with some incredible people and simply enjoying the freedom of living in the moment.
I’m very thankful, after all, that I actually made it back to Sydney without a scratch, with the same bike and with a smile on my face.

Riding a motorcycle by yourself can be sometimes dangerous; as dangerous as cycling in the city or running down the stairs.
It’s just a different kind of danger.
So I’m very happy that I got the chance to experience this incredible country in this remarkable way.

Anyway, I hope you’ll like this video and please watch it in full Screen, in HD and full Volume.
Of course it’s not like riding around Australia, but I believe It does give an idea of how great does it feels like.

Please share, like and comment.

Some enduro practice in a beautiful land

Hello beautiful people,
i just came back form an incredible 5 days in one of my favourite places on the planet, which is Sardinia.
It’s a “small” island just few hundreds km out from Italy, in the middle of the mediterranean sea.
This land is inhabited by fantastic people which live in close contact with one of the most beautiful sea I’ve seen in my life and kissed by the sun, for most of the year.
Sound like a small Australia to me! 😉

This land, other than having exquisite food and traditions, have some of the best terrains for Enduro cross.

Matter of fact it has been one of the selected location of the ISDE, the International Six Days of Enduro, few years ago.

In our small venue instead, we were able to explore the nearby mountains and mining towns, under the sapient guide of some locals, friends of our.
Thank you again Alessandro and Antonio, from Monte Majore Agriturismo.
We felt completely at home and in company of brothers.

What a fantastic place you have there!!

Here is some of the footage i captured with my GoPro and my DSLR.
Sometimes the tracks were so tight that tree branches were hitting me and my poor camera.
Shaking and vibrations were rattling my bones, but i assure that the smile was always on my face.

Video On Youtube (not visible unfortunately yet in Germany and USA for music copyright issues). I’m trying to upload it on my portal but it has been a challenge. Hang in there!
